Welcome to the St. Andreas Gemeinde Karlsruhe

Altar of the traditional sedevacantist Catholic community, where the Tridentine Mass in the traditional Roman Rite (Latin Mass, Old Mass) is celebrated daily in our chapel in Karlsruhe.

We uphold the traditional Catholic faith as it has been taught worldwide from the founding of the Church by Christ until the Second Vatican Council. Accordingly, we also celebrate the Tridentine Mass in its pre-conciliar form. In doing so, we stand against the current apostasy of faith and the dilution of Catholic doctrine.

All curious individuals are warmly invited to attend the Holy Mass in our chapel.

However, please observe the traditional rules for receiving the Eucharist:

  • Only Catholics are permitted to receive Holy Communion.

  • It is obligatory to be in a state of sanctifying grace (after confession and absolution of all mortal sins).

  • Before receiving Holy Communion, the following fasting rules must be observed:
    • No food or alcohol for 3 hours prior.
    • No non-alcoholic drinks for 1 hour prior.
    • Water and medicine may be consumed at any time and does not break the fast.

  • Holy Communion is to be received only on the tongue.

  • The communicant is silent during reception of Holy Communion.
